If you have never sung in a choir before or resuming after a long gap, this course will teach you how to:

  • Use your singing voice accurately and effortlessly
  • Enunciate clearly for good diction
  • Blend your voice with others
  • Hold your singing part while others are singing different notes

What your course will cover

  • Familiar 'rounds'
  • Three- part songs (depending on number of students)
  • Effortless singing and good diction
  • The basics of reading music

What you can hope to achieve

  • A sense of joy at achieving something new
  • Sharing your voice with new friends
  • Learning to read music
  • Working towards a short concert held at the last class

What to bring

  • A folder for your music – 2 ring or 3 ring binder .
  • Note book and pencil and eraser
