50 Life Hacks for Health, Wellbeing and Happiness

Course Description

Are you overwhelmed by the vast array of information on ‘good food’ and lifestyle?
Did you know that just breathing can have an effect on your health?
Happiness starts with you!
50 Life Hacks for Heath, Wellbeing and Happiness is a course focusing on managing your self care with time effective strategies, recipes, infobytes and exercises.

What to bring

  • Please bring along an exercise mat – if you do not have one, these can be purchased from large discount stores or better quality sports stores, depending on your preference
  • Please wear comfortable clothing that allows freedom of movement
  • Sessions scheduled on Saturdays include a lunch hour. You may bring your own lunch or purchase if from the shopping centres nearby.

What your course will cover

  • The scientific basis of various “healthy” food theories including acid/alkaline, Ying/Yang and the Mediterranean diet.
  • Healthy food preparation strategies.
  • Simple herbal bach flower and aromatherapy recipes for preventative health.
  • Healing stretches.
  • Self massage, including “magic” acupressure points for relieving pain and anxiety.
  • The importance of water.
  • The importance of breathing.
  • Simple healing meditation and visulisation techniques for reducing stress levels and healing.
  • Enhancing motivation, self esteem and happiness.
  • Mental hygiene, or positive mental habits.

What you can hope to achieve

  • Understand the founding principles of various food theories.
  • Learn and experiment with the power of positive thinking habits.
  • Learn about inexpensive cleansing and health boosting herbal and aromatherapy remedies.
  • Learn to prepare and use Bach’s ‘rescue remedy’.
  • An awareness of the relative importance of eating, drinking and breathing.
  • Find your personal Bach Flower.
  • Learn easy stretches with health enchancing powers.
  • Learn to find and use ‘magic acupressure’ points to treat pain and anxiety.
  • Learn a health enhancing breathing technique.
  • Tap into your inner happiness.

Please choose your course carefully. A full refund is payable in the event that a class is cancelled. No other refunds are considered except for extenuating circumstances which are supported by a written application.
