Alison Savage has been working in editing and publishing for several years. She has a degree in English and Linguistics, a Diploma in Publishing and Editing and is a trained teacher. Alison moved to Tasmania from Sydney in 2003 and continues to work as a freelance proofreader and copy editor for Tasmanian Government, local businesses, and interstate publishing companies. In addition to Adult Education courses, she runs training in editing and web writing for local businesses. Alison is a committee member of the Society of Editors (Tas).
