Kimbra Cresswell is an advanced wildlife care volunteer involved in the rescue, rehabilitation and release of Tasmanian native wildlife including birds, wallabies, pademelons and possums. She conducts wildlife information sessions for schools and interested community groups.Kimbra founded and coordinated Tasmanian Injured and Orphaned Native Wildlife Bush Babies which in 2009 joined Wildcare Tas Inc, and is now known as Wildcare Injured and Orphaned Bush Babies South. Kimbra and Wildcare Bush Babies encourage awareness of our unique wildlife and ‘sharing our backyards’.
Kimbra has a community nursing background and also qualified as a flower essence practitioner. She is a member of the University of Tasmania Animal Ethics and Research Committee.
