A milliner for over 15 years, Julie was taught traditional millinery techniques at the London College of Fashion after doing a class at the then Parhan Technical College and catching the millinery ‘bug’. Julie has an Associate Diploma of Theatre Technology-Costume from Swinburne University, Melbourne and taught millinery at the Centre for Adult Education in Melbourne for 5 years. She also taught millinery at the Gordon Institute of TAFE, Geelong. Julie has been teaching Adult Education millinery classes in Hobart since 2005.
