Annick Thomas

Annick Pierrette Thomas was born in France and immigrated to Australia as a teenager with her family in 1972 initially settling Melbourne and subsequently moving to Geelong. She moved to Tasmania in 1989.
Annick working life has seen her undertake a range of work including antique sales and restoration running a cafe/ restaurant, catering for major community cultural festivals and organising a variety of Art Exhibitions. In addition, she interpreted French and Tasmanian Aboriginal history for The Derwent River Cruises and The Hobart Aero Club and was a spokesperson for the Recherche Bay campaign to highlight early European and Aboriginal history in Tasmania.
Annick is also currently an Adult Education Tutor for the cooking class “Normandy Food Affair” and “Hot Traditional Smoked Foods”.
