Rick Turner has been repairing and building instruments professionally for over 40 years. He’s also in that time been a recording and touring guitarist, a live sound mixer (the Youngbloods, Dan Hicks & the Hot Licks, Grateful Dead, and more…), and has worked for or consulted with several major American guitar companies including Gibson, Tacoma, and Guild. Rick currently has a small guitar factory employing eight luthiers in Santa Cruz, CA.
