Yvette Watt

Yvette Watt has an extensive professional history as an educator and artist. She holds a Bachelor of Education (Art) from Curtin University (1985), and a Master of Fine Arts (2003) and a PhD in Fine Art (2009) from the Tasmanian School of Art, University of Tasmania.
Yvette’s teaching experiences are broad, and include teaching at all levels including primary school, high school, TAFE, Adult Education and Tertiary. Yvette is a part-time Associate Lecturer in Fine Art at the Tasmanian School of Art, where she has taught since 1999.
Yvette’s art practice spans more than 25 years. She has held numerous solo exhibitions and has been the recipient of a number of grants and awards. Her work is held in many public and private collections including Parliament House Canberra, Artbank and the Art Gallery of WA.
