Will Fletcher ran his own small landscape design and construction business in the 70s and 80s in Launceston and Hobart. Inspired by the plethora of beautiful plants he observed when bushwalking, Will opened Plants of Tasmania Nursery in 1990 to introduce these plants into horticulture. In 2008 Will established Island Bonsai, a nursery dedicated to the study and crafting of Tasmanian indigenous bonsai.
