              Sprung

              Resume

Ian Smith, your tutor, is the owner / operator of Sprung – a premium mountain bike retailer and repair shop in Launceston. Ian has been riding mountain bikes since their popularisation in the early nineties, when suspension and disc brakes were but a dream! He’s not just a mountain biker though, having toured on-road extensively around New Zealand, NSW and Tasmania, with many more mad schemes in the pipeline. He’s regularly commuted by bike in Sydney and Launceston between 5 and 50km, and can offer practical insights regarding this unique style of riding. Cripes, he has even been known to get stuck into the odd road race! Ian has been selected over the last 3 years and into the future to provide mechanical services to Australia’s premier multi-day mountain bike event, Tasmania’s own Wildside MTB. He has a depth of passion for all things bike and is keen to share this expertise with all of you.Ian Smith , your tutor, is the owner / operator of Sprung a newly opened bike store in Launceston.
