Wei-Siong Liang was born & raised in a region that has experienced invasions, wars, occupations & insurgencies. As a teenager whilst living in Singapore, he was trained by unarmed combat instructors for the Singapore Armed Forces; including the Chief-instructor for the Commando Units. Later on, he acquired proficiency in many other combat arts. He has also competed in Taekwondo at International level & trained many students who have achieved exemplary results. Wei-Siong also has an inquisitive mind & ravenous thirst for knowledge. He can converse in 6 languages/dialects.
