              Resume

I began Yoga classes in 1973 following advice from a friend because I had been sick for three years. I studied for
a Diploma in Yoga Teaching with Swami Kamalamata’s Diamond School of Yoga (1978 & 79) and in 1994 was
initiated as Swami Esahananda into the Aranya Order.
Relaxation therapy, including Yoga Nidra, and the philosophies of Yoga are the teachings I particularly enjoy
sharing with others. I have witnessed many chelas (students) become more focused, happy and contented, more
sure of the way they wish to live their lives, through their knowledge and practice of Yoga.
