Stuart is Chief Tai Chi instructor for Tai Chi Australia in Tasmania and he has been a Tai Chi practitioner for 15 years. Stuart has National Coaching Accreditation through the Australian Sports Commission and has competed at the national level in Tai Chi (Taiji Quan) in both ‘Bare Hands’ and ‘Weapons Forms’. In addition, Stuart has trained under various Masters including Professor Men Hui Feng from the Beijing Sport University and Master Han Jing Song, head coach for the Australian National Tai Chi and Wushu Team and Chief instructor for Tai Chi Australia. Stuart returned to China in September 2006 to receive training from Professor Men Hui Feng. He demonstrated the Dong Yue bare hand forms at a special Dong Yue Tai Chi championship in Xian with Tai Chi practitioners from other countries.
