Pat Bessell majored in Italian at the University of Tasmania and has an Associate Diploma of Modern Languages and a Graduate Certificate of Education – LOTE Teaching. She has taught Italian in Tasmanian Schools and Colleges and is passionate about the language and that untranslatable “certain something” which is uniquely Italian. She has been teaching Italian to Adult Education Classes since 2001 and has visited Italy several times.
