Mixed Media - Open Studio
Course description
A combined Drawing and Painting “art class” for those wanting to develop skill and creative scope or re-engage with their art practice in an informative but flexible setting.
Students are guided in the medium of their choice while being encouraged to broaden their practice with a mixed media approach to creating images using both traditional and contemporary media/materials.
Class exercises will give you the practical skills needed to successfully combine and layer media while feeding your inspiration through guided experimentation. Enjoy the light and space of this large studio environment as you develop and refine your drawing and painting skills during structured sessions or work at your own pace.
This course is delivered at an intermediate to advanced level, being suitable for students with both drawing and painting experience.
